MSP® Managing Successful Programmes Practitioner Course (Cardiff)

Overview

The Managing Successful Programmes MSP Practitioner course in Cardiff is a five-day course which is accredited by AXELOS and presented by MSP approved trainers.

Who should attend this MSP course?

This MSP course is intended for those looking to manage multiple change events within their organizations. It is, therefore, suitable for program managers, experienced project managers, and senior managers within organizations who are involved with implementing change whether directly or in a support role.

Objectives of the MSP course

The course is a flexible, process and principle-based approach designed to provide solutions for managing organizational change. The first three days are comprised of the MSP Foundation level and cumulate in the MSP Foundation exam; this consists of 60 multiple-choice questions to be answered in 60 minutes and is a closed-book examination.

Once candidates successfully pass the MSP Foundation exam they can proceed onto the MSP Practitioner course. The MSP Practitioner exam takes place on the afternoon of day five and is constructed using the ‘Objective Testing’ questioning method.

The MSP Practitioner exam consists of 70 questions and the pass mark is set at 60% (42 marks). Delegates who pass the Practitioner examination are awarded the qualification of registered MSP Practitioner.

MSP course details

Included in the cost of the course are joining instructions, MSP manual, pre-course preparation materials, detailed course notes, examination fees, and refreshments. The pre-course reading is sent to delegates four weeks before the commencement of each course. It is strongly recommended that between 10 to 15 hours of pre-course reading is completed during the weeks before the course starts. During the course, all delegates are expected to complete evening work.

The course venue is located in central Cardiff within an easy walk of Cardiff Central railway station.
