PRINCE2® 2017

All of our PRINCE2 courses (open and in-company) follow the PRINCE2 2017 syllabus. This is also referred to as PRINCE2 6^th Edition.

Launched in 2017, PRINCE2 6^th Edition is a refreshed version of the method released in 2009. It has kept the PRINCE2 core value of being a universally scalable method that can be applied to any project, in any organization but has been improved by taking into account feedback from 170 organizations and considering the different challenges facing today’s projects.

One of the most noticeable changes between the PRINCE2 6^th Edition and the earlier PRINCE2 2009 version is that there is now much more practical guidance for project managers about how to tailor PRINCE2 to different project environments. In particular, there is much more guidance about how to apply PRINCE2 in an agile project context.

PRINCE2: Managing Successful Projects with PRINCE2 is the official PRINCE2 manual and is given to students as part of the PRINCE2 course.
